In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani forces resorted to unprovoked firing from across the LoC in Bhimber Gali sector in Rajouri district of Jammu region. The firing from across the LoC started at 8.30 this morning which prompted army troops guarding the border line to retaliate. The exchange of fire was going on when last reports came in. However, there is no report of any casualty on the Indian side so far.
Earlier, five civilians were killed and 30 injured in Pakistan's firing in Arnia area of R. S Pura sector along the international border. Our correspondent reports, Pakistan forces violated the ceasefire and started unprovoked heavy firing and shelling targeting Indian forward post and some civilian areas around mid night last night. The BSF guarding the border retaliated the Pak firing effectively.
