J&K: Over 83 lakh people tested across UT since COVID outbreak in 2020

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, over 83 lakh people have been tested across the Union Territory for the virus of which over 80 lakh were detected negative till yesterday. AIR correspondent reports that 2,78,859 people have been tested positive across J&K till yesterday. Of 2,78,859 cases, 43,892 are active positive and 21,420 out of the total cases are travellers and 2,57,439 are others.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">According to the official figures, a total of 83,59,251 tests have been conducted since the outbreak of the disease while 80,80,392 samples have been tested as negative till date. A total of 2,31,265 people who were tested positive since the outbreak of the disease have recovered while 3,702 patients lost their lives including 1,784 from Jammu while 1,918 from Kashmir division.</span><br />
