<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu &amp; Kashmir, amid Srinagar witnessing season's coldest night the authorities have put in place one-way schedule for passenger and load carrier traffic on the strategic 300 Km Srinagar Jammu national highway.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The traffic is plying from Srinagar towards Jammu today. Both light and heavy motor vehicles are allowed to ply on the highway. Traffic officials said that movement of any type of vehicle shall not be allowed from the opposite direction.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">They said all vehicles shall be allowed as per the cut off time to cross various points on the national highway from Srinagar side to ensure safe and hassle-free movement of the traffic.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The traffic movement on Mughal Road in south Kashmir's Shopian district connecting Jammu province through Rajouri district has also been allowed one way only from Buffliaz in Rajouri towards Shopian.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The stranded vehicles from Kargil side shall be allowed from Minimarg towards Srinagar today keeping in view the fair weather and clearance of road.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Traffic officials have advised travellers to confirm the status of highways and roads on both sides before embarking for journey to avoid unnecessary inconvenience.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the Srinagar city recorded season's coldest night temperature at minus 2.4 degrees Celsius due to clear night sky.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">MeT department has predicted a further fall in night temperatures with expectation of clear weather during next three to four days across the State.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The clear night sky is the indication of plummeting of night temperature in Kashmir&nbsp; Valley.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The minimum temperature recorded in Pahalgam was minus 5.1 degrees Celsius and minus 3.1 degrees Celsius. Leh town recorded minus 9.3 degrees Celsius followed by Kargil at minus 9 degrees Celsius.&nbsp; &nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The authorities have put men and machinery on high to clear the landslides and are also continuously engaged in clearing the slippery frost patches at various places in Banihal and Ramban areas along the highway that are created due to sub-zero temperature during night hours.&nbsp;</span>
