In Jammu & Kashmir, one militant has been killed today in an encounter with security forces in north Kashmir's Uri sector of Baramulla district. <br/><br/>Army spokesman in Srinagar told AIR that around 7 O' clock the counter infiltration grid of Army intercepted a group of 4 to 5 militants in the Kazinag Dhar area of Uri Sector, which is around 108 Kms in north Kashmir's Baramulla district. <br/><br/>In the ensuing encounter, one unidentified militant was killed and one AK-47 rifle has been recovered from his possession. Sources said four to five militants are believed to have infiltrated few days ago into this side of Line of Control and trapped in the area. <br/><br/>The cordon and search operation is in progress to flush out remaining members of the militant group. On 3rd of last month, one soldier and two armed infiltrators were killed when Army foiled an infiltration bid near Noori forward post in Boniyar area of Uri Sector.
