<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, National Cadet Corps (NCC) conducted its first-ever ten-day Camp along the Line of Control in Keran Village of Kupwara District. The Camp had commenced on 10th May and concluded yesterday. A total of 124 cadets including 14 girls from 3 J&K Battalion NCC participated in the Camp conducted with support from the Indian Army formation at Pharkian.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">PM Narendra Modi had recently announced the expansion of NCC in border areas so that the areas get trained manpower for disaster management and the youth get skill training for making their career in the armed forces. To concrete the same, the camp focused on imbibing in the cadets the aim of NCC like developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure & ideals of selfless service. The cadets were made to undergo physical training, drill, weapon training, firing, and grooming. </span></p>
