<span style="color: #222222;">A two day National Webinar on 'Education and Leadership During A Crisis', being organised by School of Education, Central University, Jammu, under Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching scheme began yesterday in Jammu.<br />'' <br />'' AIR Correspondent reports that the key objective of the webinar is to sensitize the educational administrators and policymakers towards adopting appropriate strategies to meet current challenges and to orient them how to deal appropriately with global crisis of COVID-19 by playing a leading role. Institutional leaders from across the country besides 24 states are participating in the webinar through online mode.<br />'' <br />'' Advisor to LG, K.K Sharma in his presidential address, opined that on-line teaching-learning is the future of our education system and specifically emphasized that it is a great opportunity for J&K to come out of all the difficulties which has risen due to Covid-19. He suggested various initiatives which could be undertaken by the educational institutes to provide best alternative in the current scenario. He also lauded the initiatives of Central University, Jammu and its leadership for the academic ventures launched through online mode during this tough time and appreciated the efforts of the teachers, heads of the institutions, administrators, and policy-makers for being techno-friendly and promoting online education. Prof. Ashok Aima, VC, CUJ, highlighted various capacity building programmes being initiated by the faculty from Education Department. </span><br />''  <br />
