In Jammu and Kashmir, one woman was killed and 14 others, including two Army jawans, were injured when a passenger bus was caught in an exchange of fire between militants and Army troops in Rajouri district this morning. Official sources, said, militants had laid an ambush to attack the Army convoy and in the ambush a passenger bus was hit resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to several others. The Police said, a group of militants who ambushed, an Army convoy near Thanamandi, in Rajouri district. Army troops returned the fire and a heavy gun battle was continuing when reports last came in. AIR correspondent reports, the bus passengers have been evacuated and the injured have been admitted to a hospital in Rajouri.
