Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the construction site of Defence Research and Development Organisation, DRDO's 500-bedded COVID Hospital at Khonmoh in the outskirts of Srinagar city. This Covid facility will have the capacity of 125 ICU beds and 375 beds with oxygen connectivity. AIR Correspondent reports, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha directed the DRDO and the district officials to expedite the pace of work of the hospital and complete it by 5th of June for the trial-run of all the facilities.<br />'' <br />''He also directed to prepare a 25-bedded Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in the facility with a dedicated team of doctors, nurses, dieticians and coordinators besides equipping the facility with CT Scan and other medical imaging machines.
