J&K LG Manoj Sinha says attempts being made by neighbouring country to disrupt process of peace & development

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has said that attempts are being made by the neighbouring country to disrupt the process of peace and development and maintained that our brave security forces will neutralize every terror threat in the Union Territory.<br />'' <br />''Mr Sinha was speaking at a function of the Police Commemoration Day Parade held at Armed Police Complex at Zewan in Srinagar yesterday where he laid floral wreath at Martyrs' Memorial.<br />'' <br />''On the occasion, Mr Sinha maintained that his administration will strive to preserve the communal fabric and will not rest till terrorism is completely wiped out from Jammu and Kashmir. He said that his government is committed to peace, strengthening the social fabric and maintaining cultural harmony while befitting reply will be given to the forces threatening sovereignty and integrity of the country. He called upon the civil society, social and religious organizations to speak in unison to fight terrorism.<br />'' <br />''The Lieutenant Governor also paid tributes to the Police Personnel who have made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. He observed that valour of brave-hearts of J&K Police and their unparalleled courage is an inspiration for all and said that our valiant police personnel selflessly put their lives at stake, work 24X7 for ensuring a safe environment for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The Lt. Governor advised the Police personnel to counter modern challenges through technology interventions and make policing more effective and said the use of technology is the need of the hour to deal with the elements creating an environment of fear and insecurity in Jammu and Kashmir.</span><br />
