<span style="color: #222222;">In  Jammu and Kashmir, LG Manoj Sinha who is also the Chairman of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, today visited the Holy Cave Shrine and paid obeisance at the sanctum sanctorum on the auspicious occasion of Durga Ashtami.<br />'' <br />'' The LG prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the UT and reviewed the facilities put in place by the Shrine Board for facilitation of the pilgrims and took stock of the ongoing development works in the Shrine area.<br />'' <br />'' He directed the CEO Shrine Board for completion of all the ongoing infrastructure development projects within envisaged timelines to further augment the facilities in sync with the emerging requirements of the pilgrimage.<br />'' <br />''The LG was informed that a Shat Chandi Maha Yagya has also been organised at the Holy Shrine during the Navratras for peace, prosperity and health of humanity, which will conclude with Purna Ahuti on Mahanavami.</span>
