<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu has called for close coordination and synergy between security forces for ensuring peace in the Union Territory. Chairing a joint security review meeting in Srinagar last evening, Mr Murmu hailed the role of security forces in maintaining peace in the region.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He asked the security setup to keep a constant check on criminal elements for ensuring a crime-free society.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Earlier, Inspector General of Police Vjay Kumar gave a detailed presentation about the present security scenario in the UT.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The meeting was attended by Advisers to the LG, R.R Bhatnagar and Farooq Ahmad Khan, Chief Secretary B V R Subrahmanyam, Commander of 15 Corps K J S Dhillon, Director General of Police Dilbag Singh and other officials of Police and Central Reserve Police Force.</span><br />
