J&K: Kulgam district showing significant recovery rate

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Kulgam district is showing a significant recovery rate and has reported 253 recoveries in the last five days that has brought the total toll of active cases to as low as 213. Kulgam Deputy Commissioner Showkat Aijaz Bhat said that 446 patients have recovered in the district so far while the total number of positive cases are 643 with a recovery rate of 69 per cent.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He, however maintained that much tougher challenges are ahead as the Corona virus pandemic continues and use of masks, maintaining social distancing would be key to fight the battle and accordingly everyone should follow the guidelines of the government being issued from time-to-time. As per the bulletin, eight people have so far died while 446 recovered and were discharged from hospitals after completing the necessary quarantine.</span><br />
