In Jammu and Kashmir, the 234 km long Kargil Zanskar Road is all set to reopen for vehicular traffic from tomorrow after the snow clearance work has been completed. Talking to our correspondent Executive Councilor for Tourism and Zanskar Affairs Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Kargil Engineer Punchok Tashi appreciated the role of the Staffs of Mechanical Division Kargil for their consistent effort in opening the road. The road was closed in the month of January and remained closed due to heavy snowfall for almost 5 months.
