In Jammu and Kashmir, four new stops were launched by the Indian Railways on Baramulla-Banihal section in Kashmir valley for the convenience of local population.<br/>' <br/><br/>An official spokesman said in Srinagar today that on the request of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, the Ministry of Railways has opened four more halts on the Baramulla-Banihal line.<br/>'<br/><br/>The new halting points are Razwan between Budgam and Mazhome stations, Naidgam between Budgam and Mazhome stations, Ratnipora-Pulwama between Kakapora and Awantipore stations and Sangdan-Kulgam between Qazigund and Sadura stations.<br/>'<br/>People residing in these areas had made a representation to the Jammu and Kashmir chief minister for setting up these halts. Baramulla-Banihal rail link has emerged as an alternative and convenient mode of transportation among the commuters as it has cut the commuting time considerably.<br/>
