In Jammu and Kashmir, the holy month of Ramzan has commenced yesterday and the residents of the Kashmir valley are preferring to stay indoors and not to make any religious congregations in the wake of the unprecedented outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic.<br />'' <br />'' AIR Srinagar Correspondent reports that Lieutenant Governor G C Murmu has congratulated the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the commencement of holy month of Ramzan. He has hoped that the auspicious period would be a harbinger of peace, amity,brotherhood and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.<br />'' <br />'' He has said that holy month is a period of fasting and prayers which are imperative in putting an end to the sufferings of the people in the wake of coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, people in Kashmir at large have been strictly implementing the social distancing norms.
