<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Director General of J&amp;K Police RR Swain expressed satisfaction over collaborative efforts of Police and other security agencies to put an end to the cycle of violence, saying &quot;J&amp;K has seen 80 percent decline in terror recruitment in 2023&quot;. Addressing a year-end press conference at PHQ Jammu on Saturday, DGP Swain said that terror ranks witnessed an 80 percent decline in recruiting local youth in 2023. The DGP said J&amp;K Police will try at every level to curb recruitment in terror ranks. He also said that in the ongoing fight against terrorism, 113 terrorists from different groups have been neutralized in anti-terror operations during the year. He said, as far as security management philosophy is concerned, our war is not only against gun-wielding youth but also against that ideology as well which pushes J&amp;K youth towards bloodshed and separatism.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">DGP expressed concern over the narco-terrorism emanating from Pakistan saying 100 per cent heroin (Chitta) is coming from across the border. However, he said that police and security forces are determined to hit these handlers and their operative system.</span></p>
