In Jammu & Kashmir, a gunfight was reported in Shangergund area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district today. Sources said hours after security forces launched cordon and search operation in Shangergund Sopore, firing was reported from the area. Two terrorists were believed to be hiding in the area.<br/> <br/>Meanwhile, all educational institutions in major towns in Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara districts have been closed apparently to prevent student protests in view of ongoing gunfight in Sopore area. Internet services have been suspended in Sopore and some other areas in north Kashmir region. Details are awaited.
