<span style="color: #222222;">Jammu and Kashmir Government has taken a slew of measures to facilitate people in wake of current situation. It has announced advance ration for April and May to all ration card holders. One month's ration for Mid-Day Meals would also be distributed in advance amongst the parents of eligible children. <br />''<br />''The Administrative Council headed by LG GC Murmu has ordered the immediate release of one month's wages in respect of all daily wagers so that they do not face any difficulty due to the current situation. For slum dwellers, other urban poor and destitute, ration packets are being immediately distributed. Government had already ordered releases of Rs. 40 Cr to the districts as an emergency measures besides releasing funds to Municipal bodies, PHE Department and other relevant Departments. The Government has identified select hospitals in Srinagar and Jammu and designated them as Covid hospitals. Telephonic OPD services are being set at select Government hospitals. The interstate borders of Jammu and Kashmir with Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh have been sealed. Government has appealed people not to panic and strictly adhere to lockdown, saying availability and continuous replenishment of all essential commodities is the priority of the government. </span><br />
