<span style="color: #222222;">Jammu and Kashmir government has supplied ration of about 11.50 lakh quintals to more than 1.19 crore beneficiaries under public distribution network, of which 72 lakh beneficiaries have been provided free food grains in March and April 2020.<br />'' <br />'' The Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs has received 6494.28 quintals of pulses which is being distributed among AAY, PHH and BPL families. The department provided about 3000 quintals of rice to deputy commissioners to meet the requirement of migrant labourers, distressed workers, quarantine centers and others. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Under PM Gareeb Kalyan Yojna, free ration was provided to 40.47 lakh beneficiaries. To check overpricing, the enforcement wings of the department imposed fines of Rs 7.28 lakh between March 25 and April 28 from the defaulters. The department has also distributed about 3.01 lakh masks and 45 thousand hand sanitizers among various departments.</span><br />''  <br />
