J&K govt so far evacuated more than 94,000 stranded passengers

<span style="color: #222222;">Under the initiative of facilitating safe and secure return of stranded passengers due to COVID lockdown, J&K Government has so far evacuated more than 94 thousand residents via Lakhanpur and through a network of special trains and buses amid observance of all necessary SOPs regarding the pandemic. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that the Union Territory administration is pro-actively working under a well knit strategy to ensure that all returnees go through thermal screening followed by 14 day quarantine to contain the spread of this deadly disease. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">J&K has received 33 COVID special trains at Jammu and Udhampur railway stations from different states and UTs, with about 26, 797 stranded passengers while about 67, 172 persons have been evacuated by the government through Lakhanpur till date. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, about 652 passengers including students have already reached at Srinagar International Airport under Vande Bharat Mission through 4 COVID special flights.</span>
