The situation in Kashmir valley is gradually improving and there are no reports of any untoward incident overnight. The state government has made elaborate arrangements for opening of schools in the valley on Monday amid a shutdown call by separatists. A police spokesman told AIR that even though curfew will remain imposed in Srinagar today School children and vehicles carrying them will be given adequate security cover. Earlier curfew was lifted from south Kashmir districts of Anantnag, Kulgam and pulwama totally. Curfew has been also lifted from central Budgam district. In all other curfew bound areas in the valley it was relaxed in a phased manner.
