<span style="color: #222222;">To deal with upsurge of Covid 19, the Jammu and Kashmir government is implementing the 5-pronged strategy in the Union Territory which includes testing, containment, isolation &amp; treatment,&nbsp;COVID&nbsp;appropriate behaviour and vaccination. Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education, Atal Dulloo said, there are some 600 Covid dedicated ventilators around J&amp;K with only 48 currently occupied. He said that 6000 category-I Covid beds are available with the hospitals including 10000 bulk oxygen cylinders and 3500 medium sized cylinders. He further said that 23 Oxygen generation plants will be made functional at the end of the week that will help in adding 2000 more oxygen beds in the UT.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The government today designated 23 hospitals as dedicated hospitals for treatment comprising 15 in Kashmir division and 8 in Jammu division. Several oxygen plants are also being installed to further boost the oxygen supply in J&amp;K.</span><br />
