J&K Minister for Tourism and Culture, Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora has said a comprehensive project plan of 296 crore rupees has been formulated by the State Government through Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), for the conservation and restoration of Mubarak Mandi Heritage Palace, Jammu. The Minister while taking stock of pace of restoration works of the Palace today said that Centre has approved a grant of Rs. 50 crore under 13th Finance Commission for restoring of old glory of Dogra Heritage. The Minister said that under mega -project scheme, a project report of 25.42 crore rupees has also been submitted to the Centre for conservation, restoration of works of Raja Ram Singh Palace, Darbar Hall, Courtyard and Zanana Courtyard.
