PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti arrived in New Delhi this afternoon. She is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting assumes significance in the backdrop of ongoing talks for government formation in Jammu and Kashmir between PDP and BJP. The State is under Governor's rule for almost three months following the death of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed. Our correspondent reports that Ms Mufti was in Delhi last week and held talks with BJP president Amit Shah but could not make any headway.
