In Jammu and Kashmir, PDP president Mehbooba Mufti today called on Governor N.N. Vohra at Rajbahwan in Jammu and discussed her party's stand on government formation in the State. Later talking to media persons, the PDP president said the government that will come in power in the state must have something concrete to address the basic issues of people of all the three regions of the J&K. <br/><br/>Centre should take some confidence building measures if govt is to be formed with BJP in Jammu and Kashmir, she said. Ms. Mehbooba, however refrained from giving details of her meeting with the governor. She stressed on more confidence building measures for Jammu and Kashmir. <br/>According to BJP sources, Party State president Sat Sharma is also having a meeting with the Governor in this regard. <br/><br/>Governor N N Vohra yesterday called PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti and state President of BJP Sat Pal Sharma for the meeting, asking them to clarify their stand on formation of government. Jammu and Kashmir is under Governor's rule since January 8th, after the demise of Chief Minister Mufti Mahmmad Sayeed.

In Jammu and Kashmir, PDP chief Mahbooba Mufti today met Governor NN Vohra over formation of government in the state. Talking to reporters after meeting the Governor, the PDP chief said Centre should take some confidence building measures if govt is to be formed with BJP in Jammu and Kashmir. Early reports suggest there there was no clear word from Ms. Mahbooba on whether PDP will move to form govt.
