J&K: Govt evacuates over 1 Lakh stranded residents so far

<span style="color: #222222;">As part of the evacuation process of its stranded residents from across the country due to Covid-19 lockdown, Jammu & Kashmir Government has evacuated more than 1 Lakh 10 Thousand stranded residents so far. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports that, the UT Government has evacuated nearly 1,10,975 JK residents, stranded in other parts of the country via Lakhanpur and through special trains and buses till date amid strict observance of all necessary guidelines and SOPs. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The UT administration have received 44 special trains at Jammu and Udhampur railway stations from different states and UTs, with about 34,417 stranded passengers while about 76,558 persons have been evacuated by the government through Lakhanpur till date. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">So far, 23 trains reached Jammu with 18,721 stranded passengers  while 15,696 passengers reached Udhampur in 21 special trains belonging to different districts till today. About 1,10,975 J&K residents stranded outside the UT have been brought back by J&K government by 44 special trains and a fleet of buses after strictly observing all necessary preventive measures regarding the Corona Virus.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />''
