J&K government has embarked upon Haryana-Migrant Workers Evacuation Plan to evacuate 470 J&K migrant labourers from 12 districts of Haryana stranded due to COVID-19 lockdown. <br />''<br />''AIR Correspondent reports that the government has arranged a fleet of 20 buses to get these migrant labourers back to their homes. Till date, the UT government has evacuated its 52,396 residents through Lakhanpur via road besides 11,498 stranded residents have been evacuated through 12 Special Shramik Trains. So far, three trains reached Jammu with 2,870 stranded passengers and Eight trains reached Udhampur with 8628 stranded passengers belonging to different districts of the UT.<br />''<br />''Moreover, a Special Shramik train has been scheduled from Bangalaru to J&K today, onboard more than 700 residents stranded in Karnataka. The administation has put in place elaborate transport system at Jammu & Udhampur Railway Stations to take these passengers to their native districts for adminstrative quarantine amid strict adherence to the guidelines issued by MHA and MoFHW regarding COVID-19. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">During boarding and de-boarding process it is being ensured that the passengers observe social distancing and wear masks. Also, the daily truck arrival carrying industrial raw material and construction material has crossed 2,100 mark with total 61,651 trucks entering J&K since COVID-19 lockdown, a clear indication of economic activities showing increasing trend in J&K.</span><br />
