<span style="color: #222222;">Following a shortage of vaccines, the J&amp;K Government has deferred the scheduled COVID vaccination drive for people aged 18-45 which was to begin on May 1. In a tweet, the spokesperson of the J&amp;K Government said that the drive will now begin only after the supply is established. The government has advised people to wait for the announcement of the vaccination start date and not rush to vaccination centres. However, the registration for vaccination of eligible persons in the age group 18-45 is open on CoWIN portal.</span><br />
