<span style="color: #222222;">The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has declared paid holiday for the voters of Punjab, working in the Union Territory for casting their vote for General Elections of Punjab Assembly on 20.02.2022. <br />''<br />''AIR Jammu Correspondent reports that in this context an order issued by the General Administration Department of J&K reads, "In terms of Section 135-B of the Representation of People Act, 1951, the sanction is hereby accorded to the grant of paid holiday in favour of Government employees/ Semi-Government employees/Industrial Workers, who are registered voters in the State of Punjab and are working in J&K, for casting their vote on the day of poll i.e. 20.02.2022, on account of General Elections to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha".</span><br />
