J&K: Govt constitutes committee for 5th phase of the much-publicised Back to Village Programme

In Jammu and Kashmir, the UT Government has constituted a committee for the successful conduction of the 5th phase of the much-publicised Back to Village Programme (B2V5).<br />''<br />''Akashvani Correspondent reports that in this regard an order was issued by the Government to constitute a Committee consisting of higher officials of various departments such as the Finance Department, Rural and Panchayati Raj Department, Information Technology Department and others.<br />''<br />''The mandate of reference of the Committee should be to finalise the schedule of the programme, design the content of the programme, and decide upon the exact information to be collected at the Panchayat level.<br />''<br />''The B2V Programme is aimed at involving the people and Government officials in a joint effort to deliver the mission of equitable development in rural areas.<br />''<br />''During the programme, the Government servants visit each Panchayat of the Union Territory and stay there for a specific period to interact and obtain feedback from the grass-roots so as to tailor Government efforts in improving the delivery of village-specific services.<br />''<br />''The Phase I of the B2V Programme was launched in June 2019.<br />
