J&K govt committed to uniform development of all areas of J&K UT: LG Manoj Sinha

In Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha spoke to All India Radio Srinagar and deliberated threadbare about his vision of development across the union territory.<br />'' <br />''AIR correspondent reports, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha sketched his vision of development for Jammu and Kashmir in his first ever interview with All India Radio Srinagar.<br />'' <br />''He said that his government is committed to uniform development of all the areas of Jammu and Kashmir.<br />'' <br />''He said that the Rs. 55 thousand crore developmental package of the central government has given new impetus to the infrastructural development of Jammu and Kashmir.<br />'' <br />''In reply to a question about the new land laws, Manoj Sinha said that it has been wrongly interpreted in the media.<br />'' <br />''He said that we have about 88 percent of the land which is agricultural or forestry in Jammu and Kashmir and not a single inch of that land can be sold to any non-local resident as per the law.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Only 12 percent land can be utilized for industrial set-up, tourism or education set-ups and this will also be in the interest of the people of Jammu and Kashmir as it will have immense job creations for the youth that will boost the economy and businesses in Jammu and Kashmir.</span><br />
