Jammu and Kashmir Government has appointed a Commission of Enquiry to probe into the causes and circumstances leading to the death of National Conference worker Sayeed Mohammad Yusuf in police custody.The Commission will consist of Justice H.S. Bedi , a former Judge of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.It will fix the responsibility for the lapses, if any committed by any person in discharge of his duties under the law and will submit its report to the State government within a period of six weeks.
