The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday appealed to their agitating employees to shun the path of confrontation as most of their demands had been fulfilled and others were under active consideration. Addressing a one-day annual provincial convention of J&K National Trade Union Front in Budgam district, the Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather said while most of the demands of the employees have been already fulfilled and the remaining demands too are under consideration of the Government with a positive frame of mind.Rather said the release of seven per cent dearness allowance in cash to government employees before Eid-ul-Azha, which has been due since July this year, is under active consideration of the Government.Government is committed to the well being of employees and worker class, he said and asked the employees to perform their duties dedicatedly to serve the people and redress their grievances as per their aspirations.
