The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has announced that all those arrested youth involved in stone pelting will be released on the eve of Eid ul fiter. Addressing a press conference in Srinagar today he however made it clear that those involved in arson looting and causing extensive damages to the public property will not be given any leniency. He also announced that the panchayats will be equipped with the desired financial powers so that the purpose of these institutions at the grass root level is fulfilled.
