J&K Government Announces 4022 Constable Vacancies, Enhancing Law Enforcement and Creating Employment Opportunities

<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, in a significant step of the government's commitment to strengthen the law enforcement agencies and ensuring the safety and security of the region, the Home Department has referred 4022 vacancies of Constables in J&K Police, to the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB). Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that  the post of Constable in J&K Police were last advertised in the year 2019 and again in this direction, 4022 posts are being advertised, which shall result in strengthening of the ranks of constabulary in J&K Police, reinforcing the capability of law enforcement to effectively address various security challenges and maintain peace and order. The J&K Police was feeling the strain of manpower crunch stemming from the absence of recruitment at Constable level, which was affecting the operational readiness and delivery mechanism. This initiative will not only contribute to enhancing the overall security apparatus of J&K, but shall also open the doors of employment opportunities for local youth. The recruitment process will be conducted by the Services Selection Board shortly, for aspiring candidates to apply and participate in the upcoming recruitment process and with that the Government has taken effective step in fulfilling its commitment to improve the employment opportunity for local youth.</span><br />
