<span style="color: #222222;">Ahead of the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Jammu tomorrow, a four-tier security apparatus has been put in place for his public rally in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The prime minister is scheduled to address the public rally at Vijaypur along the Jammu-Pathankot national highway after laying the foundation stone of the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) besides some other projects.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Inspector General of Police, Jammu, M K Sinha told AIR News that all the necessary security arrangements for the rally have been made. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said a four-tier security arrangement has been put in place and roughly deployed 62 companies of forces have been deployed with vigil also having been tightened along the border in view of the visit. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Apart from this railway stations and railway tracks have also been secured. The IGP said eight companies have been deployed for night patrolling to keep a close watch.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Modi had last visited the J&amp;K state on May 19, 2018 to lay the foundation of Zojilla Tunnel project, which once completed will provide all-weather road connectivity to frontier Ladakh region that at present remains cut off for four-to-five months in a year owing to heavy snowfall during winter.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Previously also, his trips to the state have been mostly focused on developmental projects to boost the economy in the trouble-torn region. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This would be his first visit to the state since the PDP-BJP coalition government collapsed on June 19, 2018, which led to imposition of the Governor's rule followed by the President's rule from December 19 last year.</span>
