In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have killed four militants in a gunfight at Handwara in Kupwara district this morning. An Army para trooper also succumbed to injuries. The gunfight broke out between security forces and militants in Vilgam area of Handwara late last evening. <br/><br/>A senior police official told AIR that four unidentified militants were killed while one critically injured Army para trooper succumbed to his injuries. Now, the search and sanitization operation is underway in the forest area of Vilgam. <br/><br/>This is second encounter within 24 hours in north Kashmir. One top militant was killed yesterday in the gunfight between with the security forces in Ladoora Rafiabad area of Baramulla district.
