<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, an infiltration bid was successfully foiled in a joint operation launched by Police and Army along the Line of Control in the Machil Sector of Kupwara district today. Five terrorists were neutralized in the operation.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">After receiving the intelligence input, the joint team of security forces launched an anti-terrorist operation during the intervening night of 25-26th October.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Today, the joint team observed the movement of terrorists in the dense forest area. Upon being intercepted terrorists fired indiscriminately on the joint team. The fire was retaliated, leading to the elimination of five unidentified terrorists linked with proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba. <br />'' The identification of the killed terrorists is being ascertained. A huge cache of arms & ammunition including five AK rifles and other incriminating materials have been recovered from the site of encounter. </span><br />
