<span style="color: #222222;">The Union Territory Administration of Jammu and Kashmir has so far evacuated more than one lakh residents, stranded in other parts of the country due to COVID lockdown, via Lakhanpur and through Shramik Special trains and buses amid strict observance of all necessary guidelines and SOPs. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">J&K Administration has received 39 COVID Special trains at Jammu and Udhampur Railway Station from different States and UTs, so far, with about 31,000 stranded passengers while about 73,400 persons have been evacuated through Lakhanpur via road.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Till date, 15,394 stranded passengers belonging to different districts of the UT reached Jammu by 19 special trains while 15,640 passengers reached Udhampur by 20 special trains. Thus, a total of about 1.04 lakh stranded residents have been brought back by COVID Special trains and a fleet of buses through Lakhanpur after strictly observing all necessary preventive measures regarding the virus.</span><br />''
