As part of the evacuation process of stranded residents of the Union Territory of J&K, the Government has evacuated nearly 1, 06, 102 residents, stranded in other parts of the country due to COVID lockdown. All necessary guidelines and SOPs were observed during the process.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports that so far, 40 special trains reached Jammu and Udhampur railway stations from different states and UTs, with about 31, 786 stranded passengers while about 74,316 persons have been evacuated by the government through Lakhanpur via road. So far, 20 special trains arrived Jammu with 16,146 stranded passengers while 15,640 passengers reached Udhampur in 20 Shramik special trains belonging to different districts.</span><br />
