In Jammu and Kashmir, as part of its youth club activation programme, the District Administration of frontier district Rajouri in collaboration with the District Employment and Counselling Centre today hosted a Mega Job Fair. <br />'' <br />'' AIR Jammu Correspondent reports that the fair aimed to provide a platform for young people to secure their livelihoods. The event witnessed the participation of over 1000 unemployed youth and 27 private agencies. 440 candidates submitted their resumes and 246 were registered. Of those, 114 were shortlisted for jobs and five were issued appointment letters on the spot. <br />'' <br />'' The job fair was organised in collaboration with various private organisations and included opportunities in fields such as IT, healthcare, hospitality and finance. It successfully brought together job seekers and employers, providing a platform for young people to showcase their skills and talents. Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Vikas Kundal emphasised the importance of such initiatives in providing opportunities for young people to enhance their skills and secure employment. He urged them to take advantage of government schemes and initiatives to support entrepreneurship and self-employment.<br />
