<span style="color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the number of positive cases of COVID-19 pandemic have been showing a rising trend. Srinagar district is the worst affected and continues to record the highest number of positive cases.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Mohammad Aijaz Asad, visited various Covid Care Isolation Centres yesterday to oversee the arrangements put in place for Covid-19 patients. He issued instructions to the concerned officers to ensure sufficient supply of Medical Oxygen and essential medicines.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Jammu and Kashmir yesterday recorded the highest single day spike of 3,164 covid cases. Out of these fresh cases, 1030 were reported from Jammu Division while 2,134 cases were reported from Kashmir Division.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Twenty five covid deaths were also reported in the Union Territory. Srinagar district recorded 1,144 cases which is the highest since the pandemic broke out last year. Meanwhile, Srinagar district administration has imposed section 144 CRPC within the Municipal limits of the district in an effort to contain the spread of the deadly virus.</span> <br />
