A delegation comprising senior officials of Jammu and Kashmir government visited Sabarmati River Front Development Project in Gujarat yesterday. The delegation comprised Principal Secretary to LG Nitishwar Kumar, and District Magistrate of Jammu and Chief Executive Officer Jammu Smart City project Sushma Chauhan<b>&nbsp;</b>among others. They were briefed about Sabarmati River Front by Gujarat government officials.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The visit assumes significant in view of the future plan regarding Tawi River Front in Jammu. AIR correspondent reports, Tawi River in Jammu will have Riverfront on the lines of Sabarmati River Front Development SRFD Project. It will be part of the Smart City development plan of Jammu city.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''An MoU has already been signed by Jammu Development Authority with the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation to provide the people a green, healthy and recreational Riverfront environment.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">According to the sources, the officials of SRFD Project have assisted the delegation in making the feasibility report for their Riverfront development on Tawi River. The delegation visited unique developments at SRFD Project like Pedestrian Bridge, International standard Sports Park, the Urban Jungle-Biodiversity Park, Riverfront Flower Park and a Smart Multi Level Car Park. The Chairman of Sabarmati River Front Development Corporation Shri Keshav Varma and other Senior Officials explained&nbsp; the delegation about various aspects of the river front development project.</span><br />
