In Jammu & Kashmir, the curfew will continue in Anantnag town in South Kashmir while curfew like restrictions will remain imposed in entire Srinagar district today. <br/><br/>Officials told AIR that curfew like restrictions will remain imposed in all north, south and central Kashmir districts. <br/><br/>Elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure law and order in view of separatists' call for holding peaceful protests after the Friday prayers.<br/><br/>The separatists have extended the fresh protest programmes till Aug 19. The normal life remains paralysed on 35th consecutive day since the unrest began a day after after the killing of militant commander Burhan Wani on 8th of July. The civilian death toll in the ongoing Kashmir unrest stands at 54.
