In Jammu & Kashmir, the curfew will continue in Anantnag town in South Kashmir while curfew has been imposed in entire Srinagar district today. Officials told AIR that curfew like restrictions will remain imposed in all north, south and central Kashmir districts. <br/><br/>Elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure law and order in view of separatists' call for holding peaceful protests after the Friday prayers. The separatists have extended the fresh protest programmes till Aug 19. The normal life remains paralysed on 35th consecutive day since the unrest began a day after the killing of a top militant on 8th of July.
