In Jammu & Kashmir, the counter insurgency operation to flush out militants in the Kalaroos area of north Kashmir's Kupwara concluded late this afternoon. The cordon and search operation was launched on a tip off by joint party of Army, CRPF and Special Operations Group of J&K Police in the wee hours today. <br/><br/>A senior police official told AIR that three unidentified Pakistani militants of Lashkar-e-Taiba militant outfit were killed in the anti militancy operation in Jugtiyal village of Kupwara district. Police said, a teenaged girl was also killed when she was hit by a stray bullet during fierce encounter with the holed up militants. Another local boy was also reported injured in the operation who was shifted to Srinagar hospital. A police constable sustaining bullet injuries on shoulder was shifted to Army Hospital in Srinagar.
