In Jammu and Kashmir, Leh and Kargil districts in the frontier region of Ladakh continued to be the coldest places where the night temperature fell below zero degree Celsius. According to weather office, Leh recorded a high of 2.4 and Kargil 2.6 degree celsius while the night temperatures were minus 7.2 and minus 5.4 degree Celsius. In the Kashmir valley, Pahalgam hill resort in South was the coldest place with a maximum of 11.1 degrees Celsius and a minimum of minus 2.0 degree Celsius.<br/><br/>Residents of remote Lahaul- Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh continued to reel under sub-zero temperatures today as the mercury stood at a low of minus 7.8 degree Celsius. The Met office said, State capital Shimla recorded a minimum of nine degrees and a maximum of 19.3 degrees, a bit higher as compared to yesterday's 17 degrees.
