J&K CM stressed the need for civil-military liaison

The Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah today stressed on making Civil-Military Liaison Conferences more proactive to thrash out issues of mutual interests and resolve them speedily. Chairing the CMLC of Western and Northern Commands here today, the Chief Minister underlined the need for further strengthening the relations between civil and army administration for the larger interests of the people.<br/>Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over the relation between the armed forces and civil administration particularly with army and expressed the hope that the ties between the two will grow further to serve the state and its people in the best way.<br/>He also emphasized on regular interaction between representatives of the army and civil administration at Divisional Commissioner’s level. Besides, Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Tara Chand, the senior officers of civil and those from armed forces were present on the occasion.<br/>
