J&K CM chairs all party-meeting, discusses prevailing law & order situation

The All Party Meeting convened today by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in Srinagar discussed prevailing law and order situation in Kashmir. Main Opposition National Conference boycotted the meeting. The meeting expressed grief over loss of lives and injuries caused during law and order situation.<br/><br/>The meeting expressed gratitude for the empathy and solidarity with the people reflected during the debate in the Parliament. The meeting called for converting the political consensus in Parliament over Kashmir situation into a national initiative for addressing the problems confronting the state and its people.<br/> <br/>Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti also visited south Kashmir's Anantnag this evening to offer personal condolences to the families of youth killed in recent law and order situation in the twin districts of Anantnag and Kulgam. She expressed grief and anguish over the loss of precious human lives, especially the youth. Chief Minister assured every possible help to the affected families.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, curfew remained in force in six districts including Srinagar on the 13th consecutive day today. No major untoward incident was reported from any part of Valley so far. Curfew was lifted in four districts of Bandipora, Baramulla, Ganderbal and Budgam today to facilitate the reopening of the schools in these areas.
