<span style="color: #222222;">Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary, B V R Subrahmanyam today visited Pir Ki Gali to take stock of the on-going road improvement works being undertaken on the Historic Mughal Road. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This road connects Rajouri- Poonch in Jammu division with Shopian in Kashmir valley and is an alternate route to Jammu -Srinagar National Highway. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Secretary directed Chief Engineer, Mughal Road to take up various short and long term engineering solutions to significantly improve the road conditions and minimize disruptions.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During the visit, Chief Secretary reiterated his earlier directions regarding development of tourism infrastructure including various wayside amenities at Pir ki Gali and also at other locations along the Mughal Road. He directed for construction of tea or food stalls for Tourists and shelter sheds for Nomadic population at various locations.</span><br />
